Fresno Ag Hardware is the largest independently owned hardware store in the area.
Being a full-line, full-service hardware store with 86,000 square feet under roof,
we stock many unique items that you will not find in other stores in the area.
With four entrances and a large, convenient parking lot, you can enter our Main or
Garden doors located on the Gettysburg avenue. Our southwest corner entrance
opens to the picture frame and furniture departments. A smaller entrance is located on
the south side of the building for commercial paint sales and contractors.
History
Fresno Ag Hardware was started in 1876 as Fresno Agricultural Works.
F.A.W. manufactured and sold construction and farm equipment. After several successful decades in that business, the owners shifted their focus to retail
hardware. The name was changed to reflect the new business. For the last half century, Fresno Ag Hardware has been an important part of the local
scene as a place where people can come for guidance in repair and improvement projects.
Today, over a thousand people come through our doors every day to get the things they need to maintain and enhance their homes, businesses and
lifestyles. Fresno Ag sets itself apart by providing a complete and comfortable shopping experience. The displays are well organized, easy to reach
and let our customers shop without stress or frustration. We have a large and experienced staff ready to guide and assist, making sure that you get what
you need the first time, every time.
